The problem
A RHIB that lived on a trailer all winter and would not hold pressure in one tube.
Small boats get forgotten. This is the kind of job we bundle into RHIB storage, with the service done before the season rather than during it.
Work done
- Outboard service: oil, gear oil, impeller, plugs, filters
- Leak found with soapy water, tube cleaned and patched
- Pressure held for 48 hours before release
- Trailer bearings checked and greased
- Launch and test run
