The problem
The hull had not been out of the water for [two seasons] and the owner could not be on the island.
Growth at the waterline was slowing the boat and the gelcoat had chalked. Photographs went to the owner at the end of each day, and one extra item — the anodes — was approved by email before it was done.
Work done
- Lift-out and pressure wash at [yard]
- Old antifouling sanded back where it was flaking
- Two coats of antifouling, an extra band at the waterline
- Topsides compounded and polished
- Anodes replaced and photographed
- Relaunch with a photographed check of every seacock
