The problem
A neighbour's boat came in too fast. The damage was cosmetic, but left alone it lets water into the laminate.
Done in the berth, no lift-out needed. The photographs also went to the owner’s insurer with our invoice.
Work done
- Damage assessed and photographed for the insurer
- Cracked gelcoat ground back to sound laminate
- Filled, faired and sanded
- Gelcoat colour matched and sprayed
- Polished to blend with the surrounding hull
