The problem
The cockpit teak had been sanded once too often. We measured it and said so.
The owner had been quoted for another sanding elsewhere. At [x mm — confirm] that would have exposed the fastenings within a season. Replacing the cockpit only, rather than the whole deck, kept the cost sensible.

- New panels templated and cut
- Bonded, caulked and cured
